The Business Times Wine Challenge 2015

Enter your best wines for The Business Times Wine Challenge 2015 – CEOs’ Choice Awards. We are looking for 10 of the year’s top labels, which will be picked by a panel of judges comprising CEOs and technical experts, led by Lim Hwee Peng, CSW, FWS. This year, a series of new awards will also be bestowed upon deserving vintages.

Importers, distributors and retailers interested in submitting wines for tasting may download the Entry Form below. Please read the Terms & Conditions before participating.

How to Enter

  1. Download the entry form.
  2. Complete it and email it to Mr Chan Wai Xin, CSW, FWS at general@winexin.sg (by 13 July 2015). You will receive an email acknowledging your entry.
  3. Visit pbp.sph.com.sg/btwine2015 to pay by credit card (before delivery of wines, which will be July 15-16, 2015). We only take Visa and MasterCard.
    • You will get an automatic email acknowledgement upon successful payment, which will serve as a receipt.

Entry Fee

  • Entry fee will be S$50 nett for submission of each eligible wine/SKU. (Early Bird, by 7 July 2015, S$30 nett).
  • No entry will be formally accepted until receipt of the full entry fee and delivery of entered wines on time.

Wine Submission Guidelines

  1. MINIMUM number of submissions per wine wholesale company/ merchant is 4 x SKU, or 4 SKU per label.
  2. MAXIMIUM number of submissions per wine wholesale company/ merchant is 8 x SKU, or 8 SKU per label.
  3. WE REQUIRE 3 BOTTLES FOR EACH ENTRY, regardless of enclosure type.
  4. Wines submitted for this challenge should retail at S$50 (before 7% GST) per standard bottle.
  5. Wine bottles must be delivered between 15 July and 16 July 2015, between 10am and 3pm. (See “DELIVERY” below).

After gaining an International Higher Certificate in Wines & Spirits from WSET (London, UK), Lim went on to pursue Certified Specialist in Wines (CSW), Society of Wine Educators, and Certified Napa Valley Wine Educators from NVV (Napa Valley Vintners & CIA) certifications.

Timothy Goh
